BANDIRMA (PANDERMA)
Panderma is a city at the south coast of
the Sea of Marmara. Influenced by the
fine rugs of Hereke, rugs of the region
were very finely woven with many
details, mostly in prayer designs, and
mostly copies of fine Persian rugs.
Another characteristic is the multiple
wide borders of these rugs.
